Take Up Space celebrates and supports the work of women artists and activists in Folkestone.

The festival of events around International Women's Day involves community collaborations alongside presentations of work by artists from across the UK. 

Across the week there will be film showings, performances, music, poetry, dance and community events, with talks and panels designed to challenge and enrich all who attend.
