Coronavirus FAQ's

I’ve booked a show at Quarterhouse has it been cancelled?

Following advice from the government and NHS England we have made the decision to close Creative Folkestone Quarterhouse until Tuesday 14 April. Events up until this date have been cancelled or postponed. We will review the situation and then decide on events following this date nearer the time.

Can I get a refund?

If you have a ticket for an event happening before Tuesday 14 April it has been cancelled. Therefore, in line with our terms and conditions you will be eligible for a refund. Our Visitor Experience Assistants are working hard to contact all ticket holders to arrange refunds, new performance dates if they are available or a credit note on their account.

Please note, the Box Office phone number is currently suspended. Please direct any enquiries concerning tickets and refunds to boxoffice@creativefolkestone.org.uk. All other enquiries can be directed to info@creativefolkestone.org.uk.

How far in advance we will know if a show has been cancelled?

We will aim to give visitors at least 24 hours’ notice of a cancelled event. Our staff are working as quickly as possible to inform all customers. If you have any concerns about an event you have tickets for you can contact the box office.

Will I get my money back if a show is cancelled?

Yes, you will be contacted by Box Office and offered an alternative date, credit on your account or a refund.

What steps have you taken to reduce the spread of Covid-19 at Quarterhouse?

We have been following Government guidance, including educating staff on the symptoms and prevention of the spread of the virus. Additional cleaning measures have been in place for a few weeks, and we are ensuring a good supply of hand soap and hand washing guidance is available.

As the situation has developed, we have taken the decision to close Quarterhouse, cancelling all events and activities until Tuesday 14 April. We will then review the situation and decide whether we need to remain closed to the public.

Many of our staff are working from home if possible and we are looking at other initiatives to reduce contact with the public and minimise the spread of infection.

If an event has been cancelled when will it now take place?

Where possible we will be rescheduling the events. Some new dates have been confirmed and other are yet to be decided. If a new date has been set the box office will inform you when you are contacted.
