This month, Creative Folkestone present a curated selection of films from the experimental art collective The Stone Tapes.
The Stones Tapes are a Kent-based experimental art collective involving visual artist and curator Louise Webb, composer and folklorist Greg Ireland and sound designer and musician Matthew Dear. Their work is inspired by folklore and its relationship to the land, exploring this through analogue, digital sound and moving images. Influenced by hauntology, myth and psychedelic imagery, they create sound collages, films and present live installations.
If you’d like to get comfortable during the screening, please bring a blanket with you. Cushions and chairs will be available.
Free, no booking required
Block 67 is situated in digital:glassworks, and is accessible from the Mill Bay entrance.
