For Take Up Space Beats by Girlz are inviting everyone to come and see what they do!
Beats By Girlz Folkestone is a not-for-profit organisation on a global mission to guide and facilitate lessons in music production for girls, women and non-binary folke.
Led by Florence Glen, local singer, songwriter and producer, Beats By Girlz aim is to provide access and opportunity into the male-dominated music industry.
No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.
Each session is informal and expect to meet other creatives, get help and advice, share your music with others and find yourself immersed in music-making opportunities.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
If you can, bring headphones! We have PC’s but its helpful to bring a laptop if you have one!
DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE?
NOPE! No experience is necessary!
IS IT FREE?
YES! We rely on donations, so we do encourage this if you can and take cash or card.
