An upcycling foil workshop for children and adults in small groups. We will design a patch or appliqué directly onto garments that people bring in to upcycle (or onto a fabric patch) using recycled fabrics and coloured foils. Fabrics, foils, glues, scissors and iron provided.
a:dress is a Folkestone-based project of activism and informal education designed to raise awareness and to challenge the devastating impact of fast fashion on the environment. Its focus is on female consumers, as women are disproportionately affected by both fast fashion and climate crisis.
