All Things Grimm

As part of Christmas in the Quarter, we will be celebrating All Things Grimm. Giant projections will illuminate the back of Quarterhouse with a brand-new animation created by our very own Young Animators Club and soundtracked by the Big Music Takeover musicians.

During the autumn half-term, 34 children from Folkestone were involved in the making of animations and music inspired by The Brothers Grimm Fairy tales.

You are invited to come and see the results of their wonderful and enchanting work in Payers Park as we project large animations onto the outside of the Quarterhouse building for the first time in the lead up to Christmas.

Screenings will take place every Friday and Saturday, 4pm-6pm in the lead up to Christmas (except for Saturday 12 December). The films will be on a constant loop and showed 6 times during a 2 hour period so if the park is busy please come at a quieter time to allow for social distancing.

We will also be handing out free animation kits so you can make your own at home. Animation kits will also be available from Moo Like A Monkey on The Old High Street.
