Family Fun at Folkestone Triennial
Although Folkestone Triennial 2025 has now ended, many of the artworks remain on display across the town. Families can continue to explore these pieces and discover the creativity woven into the streets, squares, and coastlines of Folkestone.
During the Triennial, a variety of Family Workshops gave children and adults the chance to experiment with drawing, printmaking, storytelling, and movement, responding directly to the artworks on show. From playful explorations of colour and shape to hands-on activities inspired by specific pieces, these sessions encouraged curiosity and creativity.
Even without the workshops running, the artworks themselves offer plenty to inspire exploration, discussion, and imaginative play for families visiting the town.

During the Triennial, families had the opportunity to join guided tours and participate in hands-on workshops to experience the artworks up close. These activities were a great way to explore the artworks together, ask questions, share ideas, and see the town from a fresh perspective.
