Workshops

Deep Dive Workshops
During Folkestone Triennial 2025, Deep Dive Workshops offered opportunities for writers, movers, illustrators, and anyone who enjoys drawing, making, or experimenting with ideas to engage with the exhibition through creative practice.
These sessions provided time and space to focus, learn new skills, and connect with others, while responding to the themes and artworks of the 2025 Triennial. Led by local artists, makers, and practitioners, each workshop took a different approach – from drawing and writing to movement and discussion – inviting participants to explore big ideas in playful and thoughtful ways.
Family Workshops
Family Workshops at Folkestone Triennial 2025 offered children and their grown-ups the chance to slow down, make together, and see the world in new ways.
Led by friendly artists and facilitators, these sessions provided space to play with ideas, learn new skills, and respond to the artworks through hands-on creativity. From clay and printing to colour, shape, and storytelling, each workshop was designed to be fun, welcoming, and inspiring for all ages.
With gentle guidance and room to explore, children were encouraged to express themselves freely and create something uniquely their own. Whether trying something new or building on a child’s love of art, the workshops offered a memorable way to connect, create, and experience the 2025 Triennial together.
