Naomi Eaton-Baudains
Naomi Eaton-Baudains is a project manager for the 2025 Folkestone Triennial, having worked on four editions in various roles. She thrives on the creative energy of bringing new public artworks to life, collaborating with artists, curators, the local community, and fabricators. As part of the Triennial’s Education Team, Naomi connected arts organisations with schools to inspire young people to engage meaningfully with public art. She led engaging general tours, inviting visitors to discover the stories and creativity behind the works.
Elly Rutherford
Elly Rutherford is a socially engaged artist, dancer, performer, and workshop facilitator based in Folkestone. Her practice blends sculpture, found objects, movement, sound, scent, and improvisation to create playful and sensory experiences. Passionate about the connection between art, well-being, and the everyday, Elly invites people of all ages to explore creativity in interactive ways. She led both general tours and unique sensory movement tours, combining guided meditation, playful movement, and mindful observation of the artworks.
Dave Walbrook
Dave Walbrook is a retirement and reinvention coach with deep roots in Folkestone, having lived and worked in the area for over fifty years. He has witnessed the town’s transformation from a seaside holiday spot in the 1970s to a thriving art destination today. Combining local insight with a mindful approach, Dave’s general tours offered an informative and reflective journey through the 2025 Folkestone Triennial, blending history, personal perspective, and the evolving role of public art.
Laura Grantham
Laura Grantham is a Folkestone-based art teacher passionate about sparking creativity in people of all ages. With experience in both primary and secondary education, she has a special talent for making art accessible and inspiring for children. Laura also runs family workshops, using art to bring communities together. She led lively family art tours where participants were encouraged to get creative and respond to the artworks, making the experience fun and engaging for toddlers through to teenagers, as well as general tours for all audiences.
Catherine O'Connor
Catherine O’Connor, a running coach and Folkestone native, is passionate about the town’s development and public artworks. She brought her love of movement and community together in her tours, offering both general walking tours and sociable running tours that covered around three miles. Catherine’s tours encouraged participants to explore the artworks while keeping active, making space for reflection and conversation along the way, whatever your running ability.
Matt James
Matt James is an explorer and educator who has worked with learners of all ages and abilities in a variety of settings. Having travelled the world — visiting eighty countries in eighty days — he settled in Folkestone in 2010, drawn by its sense of space and creativity. Matt’s tours of the 2025 Folkestone Triennial were playful, exploratory, and educational, encouraging curiosity and discovery while sharing insights into the artworks and their place within the town.
Chloe Osborne
Chloe Osborne is an artist, facilitator, and creative director with two decades of experience in socially engaged art. She has worked on major projects with international artists, including as project manager for Emeka Ogboh and Celine Condorelli’s contributions to the 2025 Folkestone Triennial. A co-director of Folkestone Fringe and Artcry, and founding member of Open Art Folke and Project AWE, Chloe takes the art of play seriously. Her general tours invited visitors to connect with artworks in ways that spark curiosity, conversation, and fresh perspectives.
