Artist and Artefact: Sara Trillo & Coralie Clover
Sorry, this event has sold out
Join Coralie Clover, Curator at Folkestone Museum, and artist Sara Trillo for a thoughtful conversation about the making of Iron Age urns in Folkestone and how they inspired Sara’s large-scale Triennial commission.
Together, they explore the creative process behind the work and ask:
What connects us to the people who lived here thousands of years ago?
What can we learn from how they shaped, used and understood the land?
This event brings together archaeology, storytelling and contemporary art to reflect on the past and imagine new ways of thinking about place, memory and community.
This event is taking place at Folkestone Museum, on Guildhall Street in the Town Centre, so why not arrive early and looks the permanent collection of Folkestone's ancient artefacts.
