In 1996, a Brazilian official and a Swedish journalist filmed their trip to the Amazon to speak to the isolated Korubo people, caught in escalating land conflicts. Their excited frenzy to document images from their “discovery” of a hidden world is meticulously contrasted with a present-day realisation that the Korubo were looking right back at them.
