Folkestone Fishing Museum is a fascinating, hands-on display of fishing equipment, artifacts and pictures of former Folkestone fishermen and their boats gathered and cared for by a dedicated group of Folkestone Fishermen. Extreme importance is attached to the relevance of fishing and the sea to the town's development over the centuries.
During these guided tours, there will be opportunities to handle items to discover their use, size, weight and difficulties of operating in a small space on a moving vessel. Learn rope splicing, net breeding, mending and a variety of knots!
