Join Alice Haylett Bryan on a pushchair-accessible tours for parents and carers with children under two years of age. With their adult-focus, these tours are designed to give parents and carers a friendly and relaxed social space in which to discuss Folkestone Triennial and the town.
Pushchair tours are limited to eight pushchairs /prams. Please book a ticket to avoid disappointment.
Alice Haylett Bryan is a Visiting Research Fellow in Film Studies at King’s College London and an Associate Teacher in the History department at Queen Mary University of London.
Operating throughout Folkestone Triennial, our tours are free to join but booking is essential.
Guided tours are designed to include a number of artworks and will typically cover around 2km in distance. Our tour guides will do their best to accommodate every one on the tour but please note that due to the historic nature of the town there may be some steps or uneven surfaces to negotiate. Tours will take place rain or shine, so don’t forget to prepare for the Great British weather by bringing a rain coat and maybe even sun cream.
The majority of the tours will start at Quarterhouse unless otherwise stated. The tour may not end back where you started so please be aware of this when you plan your visit. Our guides can inform you of the routes you will take when you arrive.
