Open Quarter is back. We are inviting you to come and explore our urban village of artists and creatives. Rediscover the Creative Quarter this September and celebrate our creative community.
From Friday 10 September, come and meet your local creatives, find some inspiration, shop local, and have a good time in the Quarter. We will be connecting creatives, talking about issues facing artists, partying in the park, and so much more.
More information will be announced soon, but for now, here is a taste of what to expect:
Connecting Creatives
Fri 10 Sep, 6.30pm - 8pm
An evening at Quarterhouse to meet fellow creatives and talk about the future.
Open Studios
Sat 11 & Sun 12 Sep, 11am - 5pm
Go behind the scenes and step inside artists' studios around the Creative Quarter.
Hellfire Corner
Sat 11 Sep, 3pm till late
Enjoy a showcase of UK Hip Hop talent spanning three generations in Payers Park.
Payers Party
Sun 12 Sep, 2pm - 8.30pm
Join us in Payers Park for an afternoon of free family fun featuring live music, crafting, seed planting, and more. Everybody is invited, come one, come all!
Lunchtime Talks
Mon 13 – Fri 17 Sep, 1pm - 2pm
Daily talks with the movers and shakers from our creative community. Join us online or in person at Quarterhouse for a series of insightful discussions and conversations.
It looks set to be a busy week of events and happenings in and around the Creative Quarter. In addition, there will also be Folkestone Triennial talks and tours to enjoy and the return of the Strangelove Festival at Quarterhouse.
