Join us for a free family workshop with Triennial artist Sara Trillo. Drop in any time between 11am and 2pm to explore the world of plants, stories and making. Together we will use soft clay to build shapes and vessels that can hold natural materials found in our local area.
As you create, you will also learn about the folklore linked to plants and the meanings people have given them over time. Sara will guide you to think about how plants grow, change and connect to the stories we share.
Your vessel will be filled with plant material so it sprouts in different ways. At the end of the session, all the vessels will be displayed together, forming one big artwork made by many families. This is a creative and hands-on way to enjoy nature and art side by side.
