Quarterhouse Comedy Club is back for a second edition after a successful launch in June. Our new regular comedy night presents a showcase of the best touring comics.

As the comedy scene warms up for Edinburgh Fringe, expect big laughs from the best and brightest jokers around. Each comedy club will feature some names you know and love as well as some of the next big names. Be here and say you saw them in Folkestone first.

Esther Manito
An Arab Essex girl who will challenge every single preconception of what that means. As seen on Live At The Apollo (BBC), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Hypothetical (Dave) and heard on: BBC Sounds Russel Kane’s Evil Genius, co-hosting Radio 4 Extra's Newsjack Unplugged, CBBC Bitesize Parents, BBC'S Breaking the News and Russell Kane’s Boys Don’t Cry.

Nick Elleray
Nick Elleray is a highly respected and sought after stand up comedian and comedy writer based in the South Coast of the UK. He regularly performs around the best comedy clubs of the UK and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback for his numerous Edinburgh shows. Three time nominee for the BBC New Comedy Award. Finalist in Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2022.

Dee Allum
Dee Allum is an award-winning stand-up comedian and writer. Dee started her comedy career performing sketches with the Cambridge Footlights and wrote the prestigious Footlights Pantomime in 2018. Dee has also performed all over the UK Comedy circuit, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at Latitude Festival. Dee is planning on making her Edinburgh fringe Debut this year and has recently filmed for ITV’s The Stand Up Sketch Show.
