Young Animators : Platform Game Animation Half-day Workshop

Join our RECONNECT half-day workshop, suitable for children and young people with sensory sensitivities, anxiety and children that benefit from sessions with fewer participants and more support.

Design animated players, collectables, and enemies for our games and paint, draw and craft backgrounds, obstacles and settings. The workshops strike a balance between analogue, physical, practical skills and working in digital environments. We invite a local professional artist, musician or designer to each session to mentor, support and offer an insight into creative professional career pathways.

Our mutual teaching and learning environment encourages sharing of knowledge, skills and interests with peers and professionals. Relaxed lunch breaks with games and films provide more opportunities to socialise with others with similar interests. The games will be available to play and share shortly after the workshop.
