RIOT GULLL Celebrates its 1st Birthday
From their ground-breaking kick-off at The Chambers last November, RIOT GULLL have been an unyielding voice for feminism, enriching Kent's alt-rock and post-punk scenes. Their nights have evolved into musical rallies for gender diversity, attracting a unique mix of fans from across Kent and far beyond.
The lineup features special bands: Brighton’s Congratulations, one of our inaugural performers returning; Folkestone’s SKIES band debuting their album; and Yesterday's Flowers - a gem we've championed since day one, making their Folkestone premiere.
We are also welcoming 2 new DJs to the Riot Gullll family, with DJ Nikky Lyle, half of Damp Disco, taking the lead for our Riot Gulll club night from 10.30pm to 12am upstairs in The Clearing, and new DJ Mia Kulpa, warming up the crowd and entertaining us in-between bands.
Our Legacy of Spotting Talent
Riot Gulll has been the launchpad for trailblazers like HotWax, CLT DRP, Dream Nails, Shelf Lives, A Void, Loose Articles, congratulations... Each one started their Folkestone journey with them, solidifying the night’s reputation as a beacon for emerging artists.
