As part of Tune In Folkestone, come and take a Urban Soundwalk with Randolph Matthews discovering the layered acoustic sounds that make an urban soundscape.

From streams, birds, to playground soundscape you have the chance to collect and make your own Urban audio experience on the go.

Randolph Matthews is the artist in residence at Creative Folkestone as composer /performer and curator of the Tune in project. Randolph has worked with artists from the Classical, Jazz and Contemporary art scenes. Alongside album releases Randolph's passion for multidisciplinary art forms has led him presenting his work in exhibitions in London for the National Gallery, Greenwich Maritime, British Museum, BBC. He has toured extensively throughout his career across Europe, Central/West Africa and America collaborating with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Richard Bona, and International performer choreographer Alesandra Seutin.

Booking is essential to take part in the soundwalk.

The walk will start at Radnor Park Tea Room but will end in a different location in Folkestone. Please be prepared to walk with suitable footwear and clothing.
Suitable for adults and children (recommended age 7+). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
