Matt Rowe

His object-based practice focuses on vernacular symbols and the language of folklore. He often combines various disciplines, ceramics, model making and textiles to produce sculptural costumes, props and artefacts that play with notions of identity. Matt has been an artist on Tontine Street for over 10 years – giving him an insight into the people and spaces shaped by regeneration.

Ebun Culwin

Artist, singer song writer, screen writer and poetess. Ebun’s subjects are the sea, Buddhist concepts and portraiture. Painting in oils, drawing intricately in pencil, as well as exploring other processes including silk screen.

Kate Knight

“I work primarily with figurative imagery; aiming to express the aesthetics of desire, sex and death in all its nature.” Knight studied her BA Fine Art Painting at Chelsea College of Art and design 2005 and was selected as the runner up for the Marmite Prize for Painting 2010 as well as being selected for ‘Artist of the Day’ Flowers Central on Cork Street 2010.

Ali Hodgkinson 

Ali Hodgkinson takes inspiration from people and places to produce vibrant paintings in oil. Her new work features glimpses of Folkestone. Art with Ali offers drawing and painting classes, exploring mark making, tone, colour mixing and paint handling. Working from observation and imagination and learning a little bit about famous artists and their works too.

Peter Oetzmann

Working as a photographer Peter Oetzmann works on his own personal projects and freelance for a range of clients. His personal work has had great success winning the Jerwood Prize and having shown across the UK. Peter has also proved himself to be a very talented editorial photographer with his work often making the international press.

Tom Shedden

Tom graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1997 and began painting in 2005.  His work has its roots in a childhood of foreign travel and adventure, and the impressions left on him from growing up in close proximity to the concrete sphinxes, sculpted gardens and fantastical Victorian dinosaurs that inhabit Crystal Palace park.

Dominic Pillai

Dominic Pillai is an award-winning independent filmmaker based in Kent and a co-founder of JustaRide Films. As well as drawing on influences from the world around him, Dominic is a true cinephile who enjoys exploring and experimenting with a variety of film genres.
