We welcome artist john gerrard to trace the development of Ghost Feed, his mesmerising Triennial work centring on a white-cheeked spider monkey absorbed by a smartphone amid a smouldering forestand. He'll share insights into his practice, reveal the thinking behind his current work-in-progress, and address the challenge and opportunities that the smartphone presents for contemporary artists.
Following the talk audiences are invited to attend a reception and opening preview for Unfolding Worlds, a showcase exhibition of work produced during a three-month artists' lab sparked by gerrard's work.
