Camilla Nord & Harriet Gibsone: Are you OK?
Sorry, this event has sold out
With a 44% increase in referrals to NHS mental health services between 2016/7 and 2021/2, the UK is facing a mental health crisis. Are we being underdiagnosed or overdiagnosed, under-treated or overtreated? It’s hard to know what to believe and where to get advice and support.
Dr Camilla Nord, neuroscientist at the Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, University of Cambridge, and author of The Balanced Brain, cuts through the jargon to explain the latest scientific and technological developments in treating mental disorders.
She will be in conversation with Harriet Gibsone, whose memoir Is this OK? charts her teenage online obsessions and struggles with early menopause and getting pregnant.
