Looking behind the scenes of the 2018 midterm elections in the USA that tipped the balance of power, it is a story of conviction politicians who are motivated by their own personal circumstances to raise their voices and take a stand. A young bartender in the Bronx, a coal miner's daughter in West Virginia, a grieving mother in Nevada, and a registered nurse in Missouri. One of their races will become the most shocking political upsets in recent American history.
This free screening is supported by Doc Society and will be followed by a panel discussion with local activists and community members welcoming a debate about ways people from under-represented groups can create positive changes in the town.
