Join us for a free family workshop where you can use your imagination to dream up strange and marvellous new beings. Drop in any time between 11am and 2pm and take part in a playful session full of colour and creativity.
You will use collage, drawing and simple mask or puppet making to bring your ideas to life. Inspired by Katie Paterson’s protective charms, Laure Prouvost’s hybrid creatures and Shinuk Suh’s tiny beast sculptures, your creation can be as wild, funny or curious as you like.
Think about the creatures that live all around us. Could your new being be a helper, a friend or even a guardian? By the end, you will have made your own unique creature to take home or share as part of the Triennial’s world of imagination.
