Learn how to design your own electronic musical instrument using a free open-source modular synthesizer called VCV Rack.
Led by avid modular synthesis enthusiast/producer/audio coder/artist Cherif Hashizume, the workshop focuses on the basics of modular synthesis which let's you design your own custom instrument which can be used both stand alone and in conjunction with any major DAW as well as hardware modular synthesiser such as eurorack.
Through the workshop, participants will learn how to install/set up and build their first instrument that they can use to create and perform electronic music - just by patching virtual cable.

Metaxu Collective are pioneering new musical talent with workshops that aim to inspire future sounds. Workshops provide a space for young adults to experiment with sounds, music and production. Sessions include opportunities for people up to the age of 21 to get creative.
