The Quarter Collective presents a day of live music, workshops and stalls for all the family.

The line-up includes performances from GRAMN, Rudy Warman & The Heavy Weather, SKIES, Hot Smoothie, South By Zero, MATILDAZ, Joey D, DJ Local Foreigner and DJ 2-LA, all hosted by Folkestone’s favourite independent label Mumdad Records.

As well as the music, come and enjoy stalls and free drop in workshops: skateboarding with F51, cupcake decorating with The Cake Junction, a Cut & Quarter Zine workshop with Nico, a crafty nature workshop with Mel Wrigley, SHOODLES with PSTX (prisonstyle's Tim), Docker, Daughters of Industry, Last Steps Before and more.

The Quarter Collective are a group festival producers supported by Reconnect Presents, Metaxu Collective and Creative Folkestone.

Reconnect is a Kent County Council led, community based programme designed to get Kent’s children and young people thriving following the pandemic.

A brilliant and intensely stimulating trio made up of leading lady Aux, James, and Johnny.

SKIES, handpicking elements of pop, rock & emo in equal measure. With tracks featuring on BBC Radio 1, Channel 4, ITV and more, SKIES sound has begun to reach some heights.

Rudy Warman & The Heavy Weather are a Folk/Blues Trio that radiate the vintage sound of southern England.

Hot Smoothie are a four piece band from Folkestone, Kent. The bands unique alternative punk sound and bold lyricism is captivating and brings a powerful energy to the table, that must be experienced live. They have a number of singles releasing over the summer, and an ep on all streaming platforms.

South by Zero are a new Indie pop/rock band who have a great time on stage and off and make catchy tunes for everyone!

MATILDAZ are a powerful musical duo. Matilda on vocals and the evocative guitar of Jackson. Now based in the Creative Quarter, they have played at a number of prestigious venues, made festival appearances across the UK and internationally, and featured on both the Introducing Mixtape and After Hours shows with Tom Robinson for BBC 6Music.

DJ 2-LA is a 24 year old female DJ from Folkestone, Kent. Having hosted multiple events across many local venues, presenting to you a collective of tracks to make you move and groove! Ranging from soulful disco to funkadelic electronic house, the rhythm and rhyme will flow throughout your time as DJ 2-LA will give you a night to remember!

Creative nature workshop for all the family, making dream catchers and nature mobiles to take home and hang pride of place.

Cut & quarter -Drop In Workshop
Make your own minizine with Nico on the themes of creativity, collaboration and openness. Zines are handmade booklets that are fun, quick, easy to make and a great way to situate yourself in the present with a good dose of cutting and sticking. Never made a zine before? Not to worry - you’ll be given inspiring ways to start. Alternatively, you can get involved in drive-by activities to get your creative side going. Suitable for all ages.

Cake Decorating- Drop in Workshop
Come and join Folkestone's finest cake artists, The Cake Junction (who even bake for the Beckhams), to decorate your very own cupcake to take away - and eat!

SHOODLES - Drop in Stall
Come and get some freehand doodles on your footwear by artist + tattooist PSTX (prisonstyle Tim).

The Daughters Of Industry are a modern maker’s collective in Folkestone. Shop their vibrant and eclectic collection of homewares, accessories, art prints & more.

Last Steps Before is a stall offering the creations of 15 Level three Art and Design students from Folkestone College. On sale will be a selection of their final major project work displayed on tote bags, Tshirts, prints, stickers and cards. All work on sale are original concepts and designs from some new young creatives...
