Radical Motion is a new disability-dance festival for Folkestone, hosted by Confidance. Our festival ends with a closing party in The Clearing, in collaboration with Bubble Club.
Bubble Club have been co-creating inclusive club nights in London for over 20 years. For one night only, we will be joined by two top-class DJs with learning disabilities: DJ4Blue and DJ Lolz. You can expect banging music and a creative vibe – the perfect way to celebrate a weekend of inclusive dance!
This event is for people with and without learning disabilities andor neurodivergence. All Radical Motion events are opportunities for community creativity and connection.
DJs will perform from 8pm until 10.00pm in The Clearing.

Access – and what to expect:
This event has been designed for people with learning disabilities who are looking for a quality night-out experience. You can expect:
• Low-level lighting (no strobe or haze)
• loud music that you would expect from a night-out! Wearing of ear defenders is welcome, and you can find a quieter space in the Auditorium.
• a fully licenced bar
• a welcoming environment for everyone, including carers welcome
• wheelchair accessible (route from entrance, to the lift, to the dance floor)
• there is an accessible toilet, but there is not a hoist facility available
More about ConfiCo and Confidance:
ConfiCo are Confidance’s professional training company, made up of dancers with learning disabilities. Since they formed in 2019, ConfiCo have created and performed bold new dance performances across Kent. Alongside training, they bring high-quality representation to key arts events and perform to hundreds of people each year.
Confidance have been trailblazing inclusion in Kent for over 15 years. They provide accessible dance training where it is lacking: in schools, community classes and through professional training. Their mission is to ensure that people with learning disabilities andor neurodivergence are seen, heard and valued.
