A congregation like no other, Church of the Latter Day Sinners celebrates flaws, foibles and f*ck ups.

More mess than messiah, Stacy Makishi attempts to make sermons out of being human. Everyone is welcome at the Church of the Latter Day Sinners. It offers a different kind of communion where the public come together to get real and downright dirty. Expect a creative atmosphere that cultivates risk, shuns imposter syndrome and welcomes imperfection.

Church of the Latter Day Sinners sessions will take place on Zoom. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary and no requirement to take part - just come along, bring a friend and see what’s happening.

Church of the Latter Day Sinners is developed for Future Arts Centres’ Here and Now presented as part of Normal? Festival of the Brain.

Here and Now is a national and local celebration of culture within communities. 40 brand new projects will take place in and around 40 arts centres across the country during 2020-21, led by artists and co-created with local people. The project is supported by Arts Council England andFuture Arts Centres, marking The National Lottery’s 25th birthday.
