Local women makers collective, Daughters of Industry, plus special guests take up space in the Quarterhouse foyer from 11am to 5pm to bring us their trademark mix of colour, luxury crafts, art prints, enamel pins, and feminist gifts.
Sweetleaf Kitchen will be serving a plant based pop-up menu from The Clearing with a focus, as ever, on strong flavours and accessibility for everyone. After all, who is going to be ready to dismantle the patriarchy on an empty stomach?!
Samantha is an occasional chef based in Folkestone with a background in radical community organising and DIY punk. She is an intersectional feminist and particularly interested in conversations around food culture and how veganism is a class and feminist issue.
