TEST: Prospect Cottage Public Visit

Sorry, this event has sold out

Visit Prospect Cottage and step inside the former home and creative space of artist and filmmaker Derek Jarman.

Derek Jarman (1942-94) first discovered Prospect Cottage in Dungeness in 1986. Together with his long-time companion Keith Collins, Jarman turned Prospect Cottage and its surrounding gardens into an oasis of creativity. It was here in Dungeness that many of Jarman’s most iconic films were conceived and created.

Today, Prospect Cottage remains much as it did when Jarman was alive. Many people still make the pilgrimage to Dungeness to see Prospect Cottage and enjoy the unique gardens. We are now proud to offer you the opportunity to enter the cottage.

Visitors to Prospect Cottage can view artworks, gain greater insight in to the life and work of Derek Jarman and reflect on the profound importance of this special place.

Entry is by timed ticket and pre-booking is essential.
