Plot in the Clearing events are a series of free, informal, salon-style, expert-led talks followed by question and answer sessions. Drinks and nibbles will be available throughout.

Dan Atkinson is Folkestone's resident comedian and host of sell-out shows at The Folkestone Comedy Club.
Dan has been a stand-up comedian for over twenty years, performing at festivals and clubs across the world and receiving a best UK compere nomination before establishing the wildly successful Folkestone Comedy Club in 2016.
Alongside his live work, Dan works as a comedy TV writer and producer, having produced many shows including Sky One’s The Russell Howard Hour, Dave’s Unspun with Matt Forde and BBC’s Live at the Electric. His likes include cricket, cheese and punctuality. His dislikes include public art and stripping. Dan lives in Folkestone with his family.
