Get creative with artist Sara Trillo in this hands-on clay workshop.
Using local wild plants for inspiration, you’ll explore shape, texture and natural patterns to sculpt your own clay pot or artefact. Your creation will be placed inside The Urn, Sara’s large-scale commission for Folkestone Triennial 2025.
The Urn Field reimagines Iron Age pottery found in Folkestone, scaled up to the size of a person. The sculpture is made from chalk cob – a mix of chalk, crushed stone, sand and straw – inspired by the geology of the local landscape.
All materials will be provided. No experience needed.
