Triennial Family workshop
Where Land Meets Sea with Cave And Kiln, Wednesday 13 August, 11-2pm
Working with clay is incredibly intuitive and through this workshop, we will work with that natural intuition that is felt by making handmade organic clay objects through a process of shaping and moulding the clay. Pulling and smoothly the clay, drifting into shapes and marks, allowing holes to form. This process similar to erosion, where the sea meets rock, and gently starts to shape it. We will create a space to be able to be mindfully be absorbed in the process of making.
