Join us for a free family workshop where you can help create a giant woven artwork inspired by the land, sea and sky of Folkestone. Drop in any time between 11am and 2pm and enjoy experimenting with texture, colour and pattern.
You will have the chance to weave, twist, knot, thread and plait using a variety of recycled fabrics and materials. If you have old clothes or fabric scraps you are happy to donate, please bring them along and add them to our materials box. Together we will give them a brand-new life.
Every section you make will be joined with others to form a large woven landscape. At the end of the Triennial, the finished piece will be displayed as a collective artwork made by many hands.
