Am I An Artist? is a solo exhibition featuring multi-media artist Charlotte Powell, whose work began as a quest to build a representation of herself. Charlotte’s thoughts are noted down in her sketchbook much like a fragmented, incoherent diary. She does not shy away from the truth; these words are unedited and unfiltered. Charlotte associates the content of this exhibition with the everyday, causing her to contemplate its position as an artwork. Therefore, begging the question, is she an artist?
