Strange Cargo's fabulous annual Charivari Day community carnival returns on Saturday 7 July at 2pm and this year's theme is 60 years of rock and roll, so keep your eyes peeled for Jimi, Kurt and Elvis!
The parade of over 600 costumed revelers will make its noisy way through Folkestone, and within the hundreds of colourful costumes the aludience will be able to see pop stars, iconic music era's and carnival renderings of your favourite records from across the decades.
This year's carnival will make its way from The Stade to The Leas Bandstand, travelling up through the Creative Quarter and town centre centre. You can also catch The Rattlaz and The Out of Town DJs, who will be playing your favourite tracks from the last six decades of rock 'n' roll on The Leas Bandstand.
