We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sebastian Cater as our new Interim Chief Operating Officer.
Sebastian joins Creative Folkestone following successful positions as Head of UK Theatre & Workforce Development at UK Theatre, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sadler's Wells and more.
Sebastian Cater said: "Creative Folkestone's work over the last decade or so has transformed the town - and it is the company's work that inspired me and drew me to this place I now call my home. To be working here now is such a privilege, and I am looking forward to supporting Chief Executive Alastair Upton and the team in my new role, so that together we can continue using creativity to make Folkestone ‘a better place to live, work, study, play and visit for ALL’”.
We are excited to work with Sebastian over the coming months as we enter an exciting new phase for Creative Folkestone and the town. Following the recent announcement that Folkestone Triennial will now take place in 2025, it is a great time for Sebastian to help us shape our programme and present more inspiring and dynamic events and activities.
