Learning and creativity are at the heart of everything we do at Creative Folkestone. Through workshops, classes and courses, we support people of all ages to explore new ideas, develop skills and connect through creativity.
Our programme includes free family workshops, free school sessions, adult learning opportunities, our popular Neon after-school workshops for children and young people, and so much more.

Over the coming months, our learning programme will evolve as we explore new ways of working and expand into new spaces across the Creative Quarter. As part of this next chapter, we are making some changes to where our activities take place.
From Wednesday 27 May, most of our learning activities will move from Block 67 at The Glassworks to The Cube. This move allows us to grow our programme and create new opportunities for people to learn and create together.
The following activities will now take place at The Cube:
- Young Animators
- Adult Workshops
- School Workshops
The Cube is located at the north end of Tontine Street, beside F51 Indoor Skate Park. The postcode is CT20 1SD.

The new space is only a short walk from Block 67 at The Glassworks. Visitors can reach The Cube by walking north along Mill Bay and turning right at The Wedge before crossing at the pedestrian crossing. Alternatively, you can walk south through the Mill Bay car park, turn left at Androu’s Café and continue towards F51 before crossing at the pedestrian crossing.
While we will be leaving our studio at Block 67, we are excited to see the space take on a new life. It will soon be home to Folkestone-based dance company KDance, offering classes for all ages and abilities. From curious toddlers taking their first steps to adults rediscovering their rhythm, KDance will create new opportunities for people to move, learn and connect through dance.
Our monthly Family Drop-In Workshops are also moving to a new location. From Saturday 20 June, these sessions will take place in the Lower Atrium at The Glassworks. Access will be through the large double doors, which will open at 9.45am ahead of the 10am start.
All workshop dates and times will remain the same — only the locations are changing.
We look forward to welcoming you to our new spaces and continuing to grow our learning programme across Folkestone.
