Turner Prize winner Martin Creed, created a sound work for The Leas Lift in accordance with its ascent and descent. He recorded the composition with the renowned Sacconi Quartet, who originate from Kent. The result was a subtle intervention, which bought to life the old Victorian waterlift, recently reopened after uncertainty over its future.
