The former Step Short building (previously the Tourist Information Centre) has become Urban Room Folkestone / One the Plaza. It will house Ring of Light and Urban Analysis,originally undertaken for Folkestone Triennial 2017 and currently on show at 42 The Old High Street.
Urban Room Folkestone is an important place for people to discuss the development of Folkestone, alongside 'official' discussions of planners and councils; as well as a place to explore youth financial literacy, a key ingredient in ensuring that the increasing number of young people driving change in the town have the necessary understanding and capitalisation.
